Dr Chris Branson

General Adult Psychiatrist

Dr Branson graduated in medicine from the University of Adelaide in 1980. After an internship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, he commenced training in psychiatry at Hillcrest Hospital and was admitted to Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 1986.  He initially developed an interest in forensic psychiatry, working at James Nash House for a number of years, and then went into private practice from 1992, seeing general psychiatric patients as well as doing regular medicolegal work.

More recently, Dr Branson has ceased doing medicolegal work and has developed an interest in Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, which now makes up a significant proportion of his practice. He has a reputation as a kind and caring psychiatrist who is usually able to form a good working relationship and rapport with his patients.

Unfortunately due to demand, Dr Branson is currently unable to accept any new referrals at this stage.
