Visiting specialists

COVID-19 policy

In line with South Australian borders reopening, we are making changes to our clinic policy, effective 1st December 2021.

All patients with respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, breathlessness or runny nose will be offered telehealth appointments in lieu of face to face appointments. In line with SA Health recommendations, all patients with respiratory symptoms should present to a COVID Testing Centre.

To ensure we support all our patients and protect our staff and visiting specialists, unvaccinated patients (including those that are not 14 days after their second COVID vaccination) will be offered telehealth appointments as long as it is not felt by the treating doctor to impact your medical care. Should it be determined by the treating doctor that you require a face to face assessment, we require a negative COVID swab within 48 hours of your appointment time. We ask that you wait at your car with your evidence of negative swab until called directly into the doctor's room for your appointment.

All patients and visitors will be asked to provide evidence of double vaccination on arrival. Proof may in the form of your COVID-19 digital certificate (Services Australia), MyHealthRecord (please show this to staff on your device), Immunisation history statement (GP or Services Australia) or the Australian Immunisation Register. Vaccination proof will be sighted but no copy will be made. A face mask is still required for the duration of the consultation.

We thank you for your cooperation.
